Anthony Albertazzi – Attorney

Education: Stanford University graduate (1984) with degrees in Political Science and Music. A graduate of U.C. Hastings College of the Law (1993.)

Experience: Practicing law in Bend since 1996. Extensive knowledge in Bankruptcy Law including consistent success with complicated Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases. Extensive knowledge in Estate Planning and Probate Law. Member, Oregon State Bar House of Delegates. J.R. Campbell Inns of Court. Oregon State Bar Leadership College (2006)

Personal: Married since 1996 with two children. Interests include skiing, tennis, backpacking, and classical piano.

Marc Miller – Attorney


Primary Practice:  Civil Litigation, Business Disputes, Intellectual Property Law. Licensed in Oregon and Texas.

Education:  University of Texas graduate (1991); Bachelor’s degree in History. Graduate of University of Houston Law School (1994) Juris Doctorate.

Experience:  More than two decades practicing law in Texas and Oregon. Extensive knowledge in civil litigation, business disputes, intellectual property and technology-related matters.

Prior to joining Albertazzi Law Firm, Mr. Miller served as general counsel to McCann Global Investigations and McCann Cyber where he advised Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Miller has held several prestigious positions in both the public and private sector. Mr. Miller served as Senior Vice President for the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) where he worked exclusively on behalf of the six major Hollywood studios to protect their intellectual property. Prior to joining the MPAA, Mr. Miller worked at Nintendo where he was charged with protecting a global portfolio of intellectual property.

Prior to his private sector experience, Mr. Miller worked for the U.S. Department of Justice for almost 10 years where he held a variety of positions as a federal prosecutor including the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section. Mr. Miller began his career as an Assistant District Attorney where he honed superior communication skills through significant trial experience.

Personal:  Married since 2003, Marc moved to Bend in 2015 with his wife and daughter. Marc enjoys a variety of outdoor sports including hiking, kayaking and motorcycling.

 

 

Matt Dodson – Attorney


Primary Practice: Business Law, Civil Litigation, Intellectual Property Protection

Education: Saint Martin’s University (Lacey, WA): Graduated in 2014 with a degree in Business Administration

Lewis and Clark Law (Portland, OR): Graduated in 2017 with emphasis on business law and intellectual property law.

Experience: Matt has extensive experience both in-house in large Oregon corporations, and with a small firm in Portland in the realms of business law and intellectual property protection.

Personal: Born and raised in Eugene Oregon. Married since 2014. Matt grew up watching U of O sporting events and enjoys watching and playing sports, especially basketball and baseball. His favorite activities include hiking, biking, fishing, and exploring all that Central Oregon has to offer with his wife.

Publications: Co-Author of “Standards Setting Organizations and Trademark Registration: An Empirical Analysis”. An in-depth study of the trademark filings of prominent SSOs and best practices guide for others in the industry.

 

Carolyn Albertazzi


Carolyn provides administrative and accounting services to our office.

A 1986 graduate of Southern Oregon University, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Carolyn also provides expertise in working on complex bankruptcy cases. She is a pleasure to work with – very patient, accurate and understanding.

Carolyn and her husband are the parents of twin sons in college. A lifetime resident of Oregon, she divides her time between family and community events, enjoyment of the Central Oregon lifestyle, and financial management. We are privileged to have her on our team.

Lindsay Azevedo


Lindsay is a veteran of the justice system here in Oregon. We were so pleased to have her accept a position at Albertazzi Law Firm as she transitioned from working at the Crook County Courthouse to private practice.

Lindsay has been able to leverage her significant experience working in the Oregon court system to become more effective as a paralegal.  We are proud to say that Lindsay is a member of Central Oregon Legal Professionals and NALS …the association for legal professionals. She is knowledgeable, tenacious, and attentive to detail in all aspects of her work, and has a wonderful personality. Her experience is invaluable to our firm.

Lindsay is not only a paralegal, but also a strong advocate for our clients. She attended the University of Oregon before moving to Southeastern Oklahoma for 8 years. She relocated to Central Oregon and enjoys spending time with her kids, water skiing and team roping. She brings with her determination and skills to help our clients, and keeps our office on track.

Sarah Schofield


Sarah worked her way up the ranks from receptionist to paralegal. She is skilled, detail oriented, and results oriented.

Sarah has significant experience in bankruptcy, probate, estates and litigation. She is an invaluable resource for our attorneys and clients.

As our most senior employee, she offers guidance and wisdom in all areas of the law practice.

Sarah relocated from New York to Central Oregon with her husband and two children. She is an avid reader and a published author. We are proud to have her on our team.

Amy Blanchard


Amy is our receptionist and marketing manager.  She has a gift for relating to clients and others in our office in a caring and compassionate way.  We are proud to have her as a member of our team.

A graduate of the University of Portland, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Science. She has had careers in both microbiology and chemical sales.

Amy has lived in Bend for 10 years with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.  She enjoys running, paddle boarding and spending time with her family.
